Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) Program
This program is intended to help athletes through the post-operative course for ACL Reconstruction. This protocol is time based (dependent on tissue healing) as well as criterion based. This program is also designed to help individuals prevent ACL injuries.
4 Step Process

Phase 1: Education
We will spend time with you to educate on the ACL and what you are expecting from this program. Along, with education we need to find the root cause of why the issue occured and what other dysfunctions must be addressed, in order to, heal properly and prevent future injuries.

Phase 2: Diagnose and Treat
After an in-depth history and evaluation, your customized treatments will be recommended based on all potential areas of interest. The goal of this phase is to jumpstart strong healing cascades within chronically injured or irritated areas that are known to trigger headaches and migraine episodes.
For the best results, your plan will include a unique combination of the following customized treatments:
-
Dry needling (perineural, periosteal, protocol-based)
-
Osteopractic spinal manipulation
-
Osteopractic extremity manipulation
-
IASTM (cupping, Graston, body tempering)
-
Neuromuscular re-education
-
Prescribed exercise program for home
Phase 3: Transition to Strength
This period aims to maintain tissue balance while patients re-integrate activities. This is the phase where strength training will also begin to help with tissue growth and the generation of new brain activity.

Phase 4: Maintain
This phase involves periodic “tune-up” treatment sessions on an as-needed basis to sustain the progress made in the earlier phases and offset ongoing life factors that may continue to challenge you. The frequency of maintenance sessions is determined based on individual patient requirements.
